Warnings are signaled in red, and pilots are conditioned to fear red (green=good, red=bad). It also signifies fire, something anyone in air or space wants to avoid.In first-year graphic design students learn that while red signifies love and passion, It’s also associated with fire, violence, and warfare. Another comment left by someone on Facebook said it was the LEGO Space theme logo.And a friend said it was ringed planet like Saturn.Robert PearlmanThe National Air and Space Museum logomark is now available as an embroidered patch in your choice of colors: blue and yellow.mode1charlieI had the same initial gut reaction as Oly: "RED?!?!". So I'm glad to learn that's not the case. I would have just been weird and unpleasant. As for the logo itself, I think it's alright. I don't have strong reactions one way or another - but I would have preferred that it say "NASM" or something because it comes across as a bit generic otherwise. Fortunately, there's an easy solution to that perception.
